On this page I'll tell you everything you need to know about Justin's life, plus some cool facts!
Justin Randall Timberlake was born on January 31st 1981 in Memphis, Tennessee to his parents Randy Timberlake and Lynn Harless. Justin's twin sister, Laura Katherine, unfortunately died minutes after birth, but Justin calls her his angel. Justin has two half-brothers, Jonathan and Stephen, who are his father's sons from his second marriage. Justin's mother also remarried and is with Justin's step-father Paul Harless.
Justin made his TV debut when he appeared on popular 80s talent show 'Star Search', but he lost the show. However, he made a great comeback when he was cast in 'The New Mickey Mouse Club' ('MMC') on the Disney Channel alongside the likes of Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears and future bandmate JC Chasez.

Justin loved his time in the 'MMC', but, like all good things, it had to come to an end. It wasn't the last time we saw Justin though. In the early 1990s, Chris Kirkpatrick decided that he wanted to form a male vocal group. He contacted Justin, who he'd met at various auditions. Justin then got in touch with old friend JC. The three guys met up with Joey Fatone, who they kinda knew, and the final member to join the band was a guy named Jason. Unfortunately Jason left the band, leaving them a member short. Fortunately though, Justin's vocal coach knew the perfect replacement: Lance Bass. And *NSYNC was then complete! Justin's mother came up with the name *NSYNC for the band by taking the last letter of all of the guys' first names (LansteN, ChriS, JoeY, JustiN, JC), and because the guys were so in sync with each other! The band was formed in 1995 and was managed by former New Kids On The Block manager Johnny Wright. The guys enlisted the help of several hot pop producers and recorded their debut self-titled album. '*NSYNC' was originally released through BMG Ariola Munich in Europe and the band became a success thanks to singles like 'I Want You Back' and 'Tearin' Up My Heart'. The guys still desperately wanted to crack their home market though, so began touring the States, even performing for hundreds of people at a branch of Wal-Mart! Thanks to their tour, 'I Want You Back' climbed to a high of 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 in May 1998. Their album was released in the spring of '98 and had climbed to the number 2 spot by October. By then the band had already opened for Janet Jackson and appeared on the Disney Channel in a show that was originally created to promote the already-successful Backstreet Boys. Their next album, 'Home For Christmas', was released in late '98 and debuted in the US charts at number 7 in November. It was back to Europe for the boys then, as they released '*NSYNC' in the UK in January 1999, which entered the UK chart at number 2. This was followed by a number 5 UK hit with 'I Want You Back'. Singles that followed were '(God Must Have Spent) A Little More Time On You' and 'Tearin' Up My Heart', and the guys also recorded with Gloria Estefan on the single 'Music Of My Heart'. The band then signed to Jive records after lengthy discussions and released the record-breaking album 'No Strings Attached' in 2000, which sold over 2 million copies in its first week of release in the USA. The album spawned several smash-hit singles, including 'Bye Bye Bye', 'I'll Never Stop' and 'It's Gonna Be Me'. The band followed up this success with the July 2001 album 'Celebrity'. Justin co-wrote some songs on this album for the first time, including the smash hits 'Girlfriend' (which was remixed by the Neptunes to create a hit duet with Nelly) and 'Gone'. 'Celebrity' was labelled by the critics as the band's most musically adventurous album, and it was created by the guys as an opportunity for the band to laugh at themselves and provide a bit of irony - just look at the hit single, 'Pop'! The group have taken a break while the members do their own separate stuff, but they are planning to reunite for a new album later in 2003.

Justin's had amazing success with *NSYNC, but now he's a superstar in his own right. In late 2001 he made the decision to record a debut album, and I'm sure that's a decision he'll never regret! Managed by Johnny Wright and his mother and step-father (who run the entertainment management company Just-In Time), Justin entered the recording studio in May 2002. 'Justified' was recorded with the help of hot-shot producers Timbaland and Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo of the Neptunes, as well as additional assistance from Brian McKnight and Mario Winans. Justin co-wrote every single song on the album, calling on his personal relationship experiences to help him in the writing process. The album features collaborations with Janet Jackson and Bubba Sparxxx, as well as the opportunity to showcase the talents of new artists like Clipse and Vanessa Marquez. The debut single, 'Like I Love You', was produced by the Neptunes and featured a rap from Clipse. It was a chart hit on both sides of the Pond, but it was the Timbaland-produced hit 'Cry Me A River' that really propelled Justin to mega-star status in Britain as well as America. 'Cry Me A River' was followed by the hit 'Rock Your Body', which became an instant summer club smash. The next single, 'Seņorita', should follow in a few months, but right now Justin is concentrating on the highly-anticipated Justified and Stripped tour with old friend Christina Aguilera. The 45-date tour kicked off in the USA on June 4th. Before that Justin took his section of the show to the UK, where Justin-mania broke out! The 13-date tour was a sell-out success, and Justin will be returning to the UK in December 2003 and January 2004.

A Justin quote
"I'm just a very passionate person in everything I do. I really believe that whenever you do something you should put everything into it; otherwise, it's really not worth it."
